Man, do I seriously LOVE Gettysburg! Everytime I go there something weird and Paranormal happens to me. I have so many stories from the last time I went.

Here's an interesting picture I caught. It's a blue orb taken on one of the Mark Nesbit Ghost Tours (I highly recommend them, they're stationed on Baltimore St. a few houses down from the Jennie Wade birth house).

Well why is this blue orb so very interesting? Well let me tell you a little tale about that white building in the background. It's on the Gettysburg College campus and it's one of the original college buildings known as the "Old Dorm"

Now the Old Dorm eventually became a dorm room for young women when the college became coed (This is post battle of Gettysburg but late eight hundreds).
There was also an orphanage in Gettysburg, the orphanage used to be run by a very nice lady...but something happened to her (died I think) and the orphanage was taken over by a mean old lady who used to punish the children.

One day a boy ran away from the orphanage in the middle of winter. He was found by some of the girls in the Old Dorm (they stayed in the room on the top floor last window on the right if you ever go there). The girls kept him in their dorm room and took care of him.

Now the Dorm Mistress lady became suspicious about the girls and thought they were hiding something (They were, of course, not allowed to have the boy there) so one day, in the middle of winter, she decides to do a complete inspection of the dorm rooms.

The girls have no way to hide the boy except for one place...the ledge outside their window. So they coax the boy out there and the inspection goes with nothing suspicious found.
Except the Dorm Mistress isn't satisfied, she decides to question the girls and orders them immediatly downstairs to her offices.
The girls endure questioning for at least an hour, next to a nice fire, all the while thinking about the poor boy. The moment they are released the run upstairs and throw open the window....


only to discover that the boy isn't there. They search and search and search and they can find no trace of the boy.



Now, on cold winter nights girls who stay in that dorm room will hear knocking and scratching at their window. Sometimes when they turn to look they see the face of a small boy, blue with cold, looking desperate to get inside.
On occaision they may see him write something on the window...when they get up, the boy disappears and all that's left on the window are the words "Help Me" written backwards.

Now to discuss the orb:
A. It's freakin pale blue!

B. There is no lightsource for it to be there. Yes I took it with a flash...but think about it. Dusk reflects translucent white, streetlights reflect green...and there's no where else for my flash to reflect off of.
